The '82 below was from the central division and involved in a gun battle on 1-19-1984 south of Madera of hwy 99. The car was driven by officer Jim Walls , ID 7763. I got my hands on the pictures yesterday, 34 years to the date. So close to getting the unit number!

Ret. Officer John Flagg, as seen standing next to a 1982 CHP assigned to him in a previous post, was kind enough to share a treasure trove of photos with '82 Mustangs in them. First up, circa 1983, Redwood City Officer Sue Lugaski standing next to 0595.

Next is Officer Joe Souza, again out of the Redwood Office driving what appears to be 0520. Great images and another new unit identified.
