Default New batch of 91 Nebraska cars found

A guy on FB sent me the Marti Report for his 1991 Nebraska SSP, which I used to create the following page -

http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info161998.htm

The car IS a Nebraska SSP, but he has not sent me anything to confirm its agency usage (yet!). It is worth noting that we had not confirmed any SSPs in this batch of 26 consecutive VINs 'til now.

Default A true 1990 Drug Enforcement Agency car this time

Here's another one from a gentleman on Facebook -

http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info191630.htm

The paperwork he sent me confirms it as a DEA SSP. Here's a question for the collective - Would all of the VINs in this DSO number been ordered for the DEA?

Default DSO 27

Gentlemen, please look at the following car in our VIN Project -

http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info147059.htm

The DSO number is "27 0409". DSO 27 is not listed in our data, so where is DSO 27??? Does anyone know the story on this Winter Park, Florida car?

I have seen a Marti report from a 1993 LX and it says that DSO 27 is "Washington district sales office".

For the 1991 and earlier model years I have a bunch of door tags with 17 and none with 27.
For the 1992 model year I have one door tag with 17 and a few later tags with 27.
For the 1993 and later model year I have no door tags with 17 and a bunch with 27.

I believe the Washington DSO code switched from 17 to 27 sometime after the 1992 model year started. The "17" tag in 1992 has a 08/91 date and the "27" tags all have dates of 01/92 or later.

FWIW I remember Winter Parks 5.0. We always knew better than to speed thru that city.
