New Mexico is close to AZ
so where is crash now

I let it go,,,,, someone had picked it up for 800 without a motor ,,oh well,,I asked him to send me the pic of the door tag among other things but,,he did not

Default help ssp?

hi i am a new member trying to find out some info on this i believe a ssp car. It is the 88 you guys are talking about. It has a single key door locks, seat reinforcements, spot light hole on a pillar and 2 buck tags.It also has the relocated trunk release and it has a few holes in the dash and center console.The dso is 76-0034 and it reads new mexico police unit. any help would be wonderful.88 ssp mustang buck tags 005.jpg

Welcome to the forum! I love it when a new member includes pictures in his first post, but I'm a sucker for SSP-related pictures. I'm not sure on the specifics of a New Mexico SSP, but hopefully somebody else here can be of assistance to you. One thing's for sure - we don't see many SSP's from New Mexico.

0832 = body & paint assembly line rotations # 0832
66B = Mustang LX 2-dr sedan
LX = LX trim level
E2 = 5.0L engine (E), T-5 transmission (2)
220245 = last six of VIN, 120,245th 1988 Mustang scheduled for production at DAP
AC = factory A/C
9L = Oxford white paint
PS
CB = vinyl seating, low-back front buckets (C), Regatta Blue interior (B)
JF = 1988 model year (J), Dearborn Assembly aka "DAP" (F)
0223 = February 23 scheduled build
760034 = Denver district sales office, special order #0034
9L = Oxford White paint
1

thanks for the great info. I would like to restore my car back to original and i always liked the mustang police cars. back in the day when i spotted them i was always intrigued with them. I am pumped that i found this site and i am looking forward to finding out what i have. Thanks a bunch guys
