Me too! I was happy to see it end up in Stubes' hands after the accident with the previous owner. I had halfway considered buying it myself, because at the time we were looking for a project car for our son, Jack. I didn't think a SSP would be a good daily ride for a young driver, so we found something else.
I get the impression that Russ/Stubes is somewhat PO'd here (unless I am mis-reading things), but I didn't see anything insinuating that Russ did a shoddy job bringing this SSP back to life. If anything, I think ImEvil1 simply laid out the facts to correct GSPI's statement to give Russ proper credit for the save, not the seller.

Yeah, I need a lot of guidance so I appreciated Mike's input. Stubes, I didn't realize you did the work, I just knew who the previous owner was and thought it was restored there in NH.

I own a collision repair shop and have been in the business since 1981. I would consider this damage to be minor. The strut tower and lower frame rail appear to be fine. The folded up fender apron is just a piece of tin. Great colors !
