Looking for a front license plate frame

I also bought my 1986 GT convertible new and it has the plastic front plate mount held in place with hex head screws as well (like the ones that are included to hold the plate to the mount). I believe the dealer installed the front plate mount and some dealers may have used screws instead of the rivets they came with. I think all 85-93 Mustangs came with a plastic front plate mount.

I worked at a Ford dealer from 82 til 96 and yes the dealer installed the front plate holder. The big plastic rivets required a huge rivet gun with a special tip for plastic rivets and alot of dealers didn't spend the money for one and used any means available to attach the plate holder. Doug
