1993 fhp questions sticker left on speedometer?
Just recently got into the SSP mustangs don't really know much about them other than its already became addicting and I feel like I'm late to the party lol or I unfortunately got a late start.
My questions like most is I'd love to figure out the unit # So I have some pics and I've been to the Vin project. But I really don't have a clue what I'm looking at or what I'm looking for. Anyways there is a sticker on the odometer would that possibly be from auction? Or maybe from being replaced? Have the numbers in the glove box. Can anyone help? Ran a Carfax maybe someone can put all the pieces to the puzzle together? |

DSHMV sticker in the glove box (the blue/silver decal with the number on it), is about the only thing I see that would have come from FHP.
Congrats on the car and welcome to the site.

In the past, we have used the crash incidents to determine unit numbers. Since your car was more than likely in-service still when the first few occurred, there would have been crash reports generated, and the license number (unit number) noted on the incident report. The DHSMV number assigned to each incident is what we used to look them up. I heard, in the past, the records had been moved to long term storage, but also heard someone else was able to get a report pulled not too long ago. Good luck either way.
