Not surprisingly, it has some rust. The VIN is 1fabp40e7jf258852

up for sale is this 1988 mustang 5.0 notchback it is a vere RARE 5 speed SSP made for NY state police
the car is a good project
the body is straight however it needs a new floor pan (small rot spot behind drivers seat
also the car needs a full interior
it is original 5.0 5 speed car the whole drivetrain is there but the car has not ran in years
this is a very rare car that any mustang enthusiast will appreciate
also the car must be towed away it is not running and has not been running in years
** NOTE: i am going on vacation so the car MUST be picked up and paid in full 5 days of the end of the auction**

Pretty cool to see another NYSP come up for sale. No reserve too. Wish he would have pushed it out to take some pictures. I noticed the speedo is sitting on 20 MPH with the car in the garage.

Not surprised to see some rust. Of the two '88 NYSP's I got from Jeff, one was full of rust and the other was very minor. Here's my donor car.

What a shame to see all that rust. So glad to see a handful of the NY cars saved and being restored. One of my favorites!
