Default 1989 FHP on ebay

Quote:
For sale is an 1989 Ford Mustang Coupe former Florida Highway patrol car. The car has grey primer paint on the outside and grey tweed interior with black carpet on the inside. Engine and trans are 302 w/ extras and stock T5. Car also comes with additional parts (mostly stock items removed). Some of the items include additional interior parts, chrome tail-pipes, stock intake, stock throttle body, BBK longtubes w/ x-pipe and more. This is no show car but would be great for a restoration project or race car.

Parts installed on the car include:
boxed upper and lower control arms
Motorsport B springs (might be C, I cannot remember)
Steeda sub-frame connectors
3.55 FMS gears
5 lug conversion (94-95 spindles up front)
Mac shorty headers w/ Mac off-road h-pipe
Flowmasters w/ dumps
Proffesional Products upper and lower intake
Proffesional Products 70mm throttle body
BBK cold air kit
Power Heads (E7 heads w/ extensive valve and port work) w/ Pro Magnum 1.6 RR's
Motorsport E-Cam
Summit Racing Aluminum radiator
Dual electric fan
Steeda shifter
Line-loc
There are more items I just cannot think of them at this time.

The car runs very strong and sounds fantastic. There are a couple of minor electrical issues which I've tracked to be behind the dash. One of the additional parts will be a new/used dash harness that will need to be installed and should fix these issues (the 2 issues are a miss that comes shortly after start up and clears up along with a short in the blinkers). I think there are couple of other wires grounding behind the dash which is also causing battery charging issues.

Feel free to send me an email with any questions.

Thanks!
VIN is 1FABP40E1KF225640 which is part of a 188-car group of consecutive VINs with a bunch of FHPs and a single Arizona DPS car towards the end of the group. This car is the earliest VIN in the group so far.

I received the attached picture from the seller. The DSO and paint codes are a match for FHP -

Bill (just info) - I owned 1FABP40E5KF225611 in that group of 188. It was totaled years ago. It was a FHP (Unit# 435) DSO-24-0266.
