Chrome Trims
The one of the previous owners of my car painted the car and all of its trimings black. How can I remove the black paint from the trims without having to buy all of them new?

I would think you could strip it with any paint stripper and then have them rechromed. They are pretty flimsy, so be careful.
Anyone tried to polish these out?

I 've used this stuff called "Goof Off" to remove overspray on windows. It works good on that. I' am unsure on how well it would work on something that has thick paint on it. It might take multiple rub ins. It is not as strong as paint stripper. I bought it at Ace Hardware.
