Hmmmm. We've all heard about the '88 SSPs that the OSP did not purchase. Some of these were sold to the public. If this is one of them, is this a known car or perhaps one that has surfaced?

I can only make out the first four numbers in the CUN and they are 1722. The last two look like 64.

172264 was (supposedly) sold new to a "civilian".

I have a 88 SSP that was ordered by the Oregon State Police but was sold to a civilian, due to a mix up when the order was made to many cars were ordered.There is a big debate on the oregon ssp cars,some were sent to saleen,and i was told that three were sold to the public and this is one of them making this a rare car.
Sence i have gotten the car i have pulled it apart ie the doors,hood,trunk,and painted it in it's factory 9l Oxford white,and installed new headlights,weather stripping,badges,and a nice cd player.
This is a realy solid and great driving stock car.These cars are getting very hard to find in this condition ie never crashed out or ragged out or had a bunch of aftermarket stuff threw at it.It is showing 66k miles,could be 166 but it's in great shape if it is.This car still has the stock exhaust with all 4 cats.This is a great running and driving car!!!!

I believe that is "Fastlane's" from the .org site old car. The guy purchased it, painted it, then listed it for sale originally at $12,500 if I remember right.
