You can't tell by the VIN, but a 6 digit DSO on the door tag is a good sign. Check out the tech section here:

I didn't buy the car if that is what you meant. I just thought it was ironic that I found the same ad earlier. After speaking with the guy it seems like a buy for a restorer, but I'm looking for a driver.
