Here's the response received from SparksSVT to the above mentioned PM:

"Your way off base with 12k. I sold a RESTORED 1993 CHP mustang for 12.5k. That's after the car was completely taken apart and a 6k repaint was put on it. I sold my 1991 FHP for 3500 and it was unrestored, about 140k miles and was in honestly better shape than yours which will need a lot of body repairs. Also FHP cars are some of the most common SSPs You can verify that with the documents available on the forums."

I'm still curious as to what the group thinks. From the research I've done, 1991 SSP Mustangs are among the more rare years - due to a very limited production run (which makes sense, as 1991 was a recession year). When you look at known, true SSP Mustangs from this year, there are fewer in existence than any other year of this body style.

Any other thoughts?
