I wanted to see if I could get some help from the group here. My father is getting up in years and can no longer drive is SSP 91 FHP Mustang. As you can see from the pictures below, the car is in decent condition. There are a few bumps on the body of the vehicle from tree limbs falling on the car and there are at least two small spots that I could find where paint is chipped/peeling off.
Mechanically, the car was gone through in the last 5 years and all gaskets/seals/belts/etc were all replaced. Other then the Hurst gear shifter that was installed, the car is all as original the day he bought it in an auction from a local Florida dealer.
From my research, I think I have a fairly good idea of what the vehicle is worth, but I felt that asking this group, would give me a better idea of overall value of the vehicle. There are 116k+ original miles on the car.
We have thought about keeping the car and restoring it to a full FHP car for shows/parades.
So, what's your thoughts on the value of this car?
