The Mustang Owners Club of Austin hosted their annnual summer event on August 4, 2007. It was HOT but it was a nice turn-out. Over 150 vehicles with the major bulk of them being Mustangs! I received a 2nd place win in the 79-93 Stock Coupe/Convertible/Hatchback class.
I was joined by GRUMPYSTANG (Troy O'Neal) and his 1990 Texas DPS Mustang. It was nice to have a colleague with me. Troy won too! The show was a lot of fun. The awards were small, acrylic trophies but they were VERY, VERY nice! The judging was fair and the show was well organized. It was held at the Great Hills Baptist Church and the location was perfect! They even had door prizes EVERY 3-5 minutes! Just about everyone got something. The longest distance award went to this cat from Tucson, AZ!
