Thanks!! I'm going to contact them right now. I'm in search of an old Whelen WS-224 that our local PD used in the '90s. I actually got permission to get one from the shop, but they haven't turned one up yet. I was hoping to at least get some photos, even better get the control head, best of all get one with an amp in working condition. I get whatever they can find, if anything. No luck yet.
So, in the meantime, now that I've finally ID'ed the model number, I'm in search of one. Putting feelers out with contacts everywhere. The PD used the Yelp tone 95+ % of the time and it was so distinctive back then. Watch an old episode of COPS-Memphis and you'll see what I mean.
