Happy Birthday to all Marines out there. Guerro Thanks for posting, I was supposed to attend the Marine Corps Ball in FT. Lauderdale, FL today but I was sent off to ST. Croix, U.S. Virgin Island on Friday to take a prisoner back state side on Sunday night.

Tonight I walked into a small restaurant and guess what? A Marine Corps Ball was taking place!! The Marine at the entrance saw my watch and immediately asked if I was a former Marine. When I said yes everyone within earshot invited me in to attend. What luck I thought to my-self.

That is something only a Marine would do and understand from all of the services. I had a great time as well as the rest of you who celebrate it.
