1992 SSP in CL in Topeka, KS

Not sure about this one, wish it had some interior pics. Cruise Control?

Quote:

POLICE INTERCEPTOR retired Nebraska HP pursuit. Original 302 V8, 5 speed manual. Lovingly restored at great expense and fully sorted out. Cold AC, factory cruise, manual windows. Interior is exceptional with original upholstery. Cobra R spec wheels with fresh 17 inch rubber. Barely noticeable hail damage. Ford built 2.6 million Fox bodied Mustangs, but only 15,000 Special Service Package vehicles, making them super collectible. Unlike other limited production Mustangs you can drive this one because all SSPs have high miles.
It's all about condition, this one has 145,0000 miles but runs excellent and needs nothing.

I think the seller was in error by writing that all SSPs have high miles. His daily driver probably has more miles on it than one of mine and I know others out there have what would be considered low miles.

You're right, Mike. Plus there are some Never-In-Service SSPs that have VERY low miles. However, I see what the seller is trying to say about these cars. Typically, a collector car is more desirable if the mileage is lower, but most SSPs are rich with history (even if it is unknown), which usually offsets any concerns about them having high miles.

I sent the seller a text, and he said that he would send me over some pictures of the VIN label and buck tags. :) The only other (possible) 1992 Nebraska SSP we have confirmed in our VIN Project so far is...

...which is unconfirmed as a Nebraska car because the buck tag only says POLICE. Perhaps the seller of this car has some documentation that will confirm the other SSP?

The seller was not able to send me the pictures, but he created another CL ad that shows the VIN label and Buck Tags -

It is part of a 20-car batch of VINs with no other SSPs found so far. :)
