1986 Mustang coupe SSP - $4500 (Brookville)

I am thinking about selling my 1986 Florida Highway Patrol Mustang. It runs and drives. New heater core, power steering hoses. This is a true SSP Mustang that has not been cut up or destroyed. It will need some work and time to get it back to it's former glory of chasing speeders. It has been painted dark green with black stripes a long time ago, going to need repainted. It has a 5.0 fuel injection engine with speed density still intact. It has a 5 speed transmission that shifts great till 5th gear( nothing there).
Factory tan interior, no console car.

If you have any questions please contact me by email (put "full throttle" in the subject line due to spam), text, or call.

I sent the seller a text about confirming the VIN.

if anyone is interested I can look at it. It's overpriced as it sits unless he has a set of steelies with correct centercaps stashed in the trunk.

I spoke with the seller, Richard, yesterday. He also has a 1992 FHP that is just how it came out of service. He seemed like a nice guy. Richard also joined our site yesterday (bullitt3808), but his account may need to be "turned on".

Richard asked me about Jim's statement on the car being overpriced. The car will sell for what the market will bare (is it "bear"? :) ). Although the asking price may be on the high side (and probably not by too much), it is a starting point between a seller and potential buyer. I just hope the buyer intends to restore the car back instead of making it into a racecar.

Bill you are absolutely correct that the car will bring whatever anyone is willing to pay.

I believe it is priced high for four reasons.

1. the transmission needs rebuilt.
2. the current market on 4 eyed cars.
3. it is missing the correct wheels and center caps.
4. you can always come down on price, you can never go up.

My advice certainly doesn't set the market for these cars and I hope it gets a good home and restoration. The four eyed cars are the rarest of them all and always will be. The problem is that the aero cars are more popular at this moment in time. Maybe that will change in a few years.

Glad to hear he has signed up to be a member too. The more the merrier.

Bump for a price drop.

I am down to $3500.00 and will be relisting it in a day or two on local Craigslist. Everybody that has come to see it from Craigslist wants to cut it up and drag race it.

I was hoping it would go to a good home, but other projects need funded.

Thank you for looking

This car listing popped up on FB. So I thought that I would confirm that this SSP was added to our VIN Project -
