Mine has a similar toggle switch by the trunk release like that one does. It's not hooked up to anything, any idea what it used to control?

Was a project car for the drag strip so its pretty much striped down. unfortuanetly dont have the money to continue the build so my lost your gain.
its sitting on the bloc the rest of the engine parts are in my garage.
speedometer of 140 and other details proving this car was a ssp mustang.
Like i said its a pretty rare car not many of these made.

Looking at mine again, it appears to actually be a push switch, and a momentary on at that. No wires to trace, they were cut at some point in time. Mystery!

Bryan, since your SSP saw some dragstrip use, perhaps the momentary switch was for linelocks?

It just looks like its been in there for a long time, where the wires were cut is all discolored. The PO didn't know what it was when I asked him either, just thought it might be something known to be in an SSP. No biggie, just wondering! LOL!

I live maybe 20-25 minutes from this car if there is any serious buyers that want an eye on it let me know. I have a crappy camera but can take pics if needed too.
