Look for 1982 CHP with bullit hole in hood.
 

Hey guys , I just scored by buying 6 months of the CHP magazine from 1984 from a consignment store last weekend. Anybody that has a 1982 look on the left side of the hood next to the hood scoop for any repairs. The car in question was from the central division and was in a gun battle on 1-19-1984 @ 2000 hours south of Madera of hwy 99. The car was driven by officer Jim Walls , ID 7763. There is a 2 page article on the story in the July 1984 edition. Good reading................:D

My dads 92 mustang was on the cover of one of the patrolman mags in 93. Not for good reasons though:(

Rich, are you able to scan and post the article? Were you able to detemine the 82's unit number?

Hey Bill, my Fax/Scanner is down. They dont say a unit number and the pic is a view of the hood only. I am trying to get the entire CHP magazines that were from 1982 to 1993.:cool:
