The thieves stole complete tow setups, which included those 5 GN's. Word has it the convoy was headed from Bowling Green possibly NORTH towards Ohio/Michigan. PLEASE POST THIS ON ANY/EVERY WEB FORUM YOU BELONG TO - PASS THE WORD!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is one of the vehicles that was stolen from a GN owner from NJ: Here is the info from the YB thread w/ regards to the initial GN setup stolen (Billy T's): Quote:
GET THE INFO POSTED ON ANY FORUM YOU BELONG TO! THESE ARE NOT PLAIN JANE BUICK GN's!!! These thieves HAVE to be stopping to REFUEL where ever they are driving to/from - so, get the word out to ANYONE you folks know - especially Police, EMS, long haul Truck Drivers, Garage/Storage Facility owners/operators, Toll operators, etc etc etc!!! |
I think I read that something like this happened a number of years ago at an Oldsmobile 442 event where a half dozen '77-'79 examples were stolen from a single hotel parking lot and included whole tow rigs as well. Man, the world sure does suck these days.

They are probably on a ship overseas now.

Thanks for spreading the word...
|
Reposted it myself too.

Sad to hear, I had two Buick Grand Nationals over the years.
I hope they turn up, but it sounds like a well organized hit. Spread the word and hopefully they will be recovered. |
Next to Mustangs, one of my all-time favorite cars (89 TTA too). Almost traded my modified 86 GT convertible straight up for a 18k mile stock 87 GN back in 93.

I would be sick...
