Former Patrol Mustang Returns Home

Here's the article the MSHP public information specialist person published in the May/June MSHP Patrol News about my 1993 Missouri State Highway Patrol SSP Mustang. http://public.fotki.com/MOstang/must...newsmayju.html . Sorry I can't get the scanned document small enough to post here so hence to link to my Fotki album.

I receive this MSHP Trooper magazine via my membership in The MASTERS, which is a non-profit organization that provides support to families of MSHP Troopers that lose their life in the line of duty.

I had the chance to see a preview draft of the article, but had not read it since April. A well written article about reuniting my SSP with the Trooper (Lt. Vince Rice) who was assigned to it during its time with the MSHP. She did a nice job weaving in the information from individual interviews with Lt. Rice, Eric Prince (MustangRetriever) and I.

A great experience. Thanks again to Jim (mbe2598) and Eric (MustangRetriever) for making the trip to Jeff City to meet up during this visit. Also thanks again to Eric for all the help during the return to in-service project phase of my MSHP SSP.

I remember seeing the pictures from that trip. Reuniting an SSP with the officer who drove it has got to be a great experience.

Thanks gentleman...it was a real joy to experience this with Lt. Rice. I feel an even bigger sense of responsibility than did before with him giving me one of his original plates that were on the SSP.
