HEATER TUBE QUESTION

I am in the process of installing a heater tube back onto my mustang. My question is where does the tiny niple on towards the front of the heater tube connect to? Is it a vacume line, if so where does it run along the engine bay. Thanks foe the help, Rob

I've replaced two heater cores, one in a '90 LX and the other in my '93 SSP. The heater core has two tubes coming through the firewall...each with a rubber hose connecting to the metal to and from lines attached to the lower intake...each of those tubes has a nipple which another rubber hose is attached which lead to the throttle body spacer.

Does that help?
