HELP:CHP Mustang light install.
1 Attachment(s)
the lights are mounted and the guy is coming to wire them up on monday. I need to know what to use to make the red/blue federal signal lights flash back and forth on the back package shelf. Anyone?

Chris,
I'd invest in a dedicated halogen flasher, like the one below. That way, you could also hook up the T/A and have those patterns tied in with the red/blues, have a few selectable patterns, or have control over the T/A, etc. It certainly can be done cheaper with regular automotive flashers (available at any parts store). http://www.sirennet.com/whuhf64.html |
That's cool. I've never seen that before.

They are a little pricey, but I think they are pretty nice.

I used a standard wig wag flasher. I hooked the four inside yellows and a blue and red to one side. Then the four outside yellows with a blue and a red. I only have one pattern however it looks pretty good when in action.

You can get one of those pretty cheap, too (last one I got was $10).
I'd do that before a straight auto-type flasher. Jim....we need video of your lights. |
Jim
Any chance you can put up a video of your lights like Mike just said? Also where did you mount the flasher? |
Hey Chris, until Jim gets back from the show you can look at the pattern he used (the Caprices) in this video:
