Foose SSP Rendering
This past weekend I got the opportunity to meet Chips Foose, a person I've wanted to see in person for a very long time. While getting a photo with him, I requested a rendering of a Foose SSP. To help him with the design, I whipped out my camera phone and showed him a picture of my '90 TX DPS. He showed a little more interest in my MA SSP though! I was telling him how much I couldn't wait to "overhaul" the MA SSP, so he wrote me a little note!

That's so cool! I'm jealous! The closest I've been to Chip Foose is about 20 feet. Saw him at last years Autorama at Cobo Hall in Detroit.

Congratulations...that's a really fun story and neat he did that drawing for you!

I am not a big fan of Chip Foose, but the drawing is cool. He probably drew it in about 5 minutes, too. I can draw, but I am not that gifted to freehand like he does.

I am not a big Foose fan either but I grabbed the opportunity to meet him and have a picture made with him in October 2006 in Dallas.
Nice guy. |
foose
thats awsome, chip foose is a great artist , both in drawings and car creations, taking something from a thought , putting it on paper and then its parked in the garage... how cool is that. Guy has got skills. Chip is ok in my book.

Outstanding! I'm a BIG Foose fan! I like how he takes a regular ball point pen and can whip out something awesome on paper.

Very cool story, pic, and drawing. :2thumbs:

Five minutes is right! That's how long he took with each person... he actually wanted to get to know a little about everyone in line. I was probably the 100th-120th signature and I was waiting 4 hours! Well worth it! He is an excellent guy!
