RADIO

On the 83 FHP the radio is not listed on the Marti Report, and the door tag is blank. In service pictures show a factory radio. Does the door tag being blank mean it received the "standard" radio for 1983? Would that radio have been a "AM" only radio?

On the 84 OSP Emminger report a radio is not listed. The door tag designates the radio code as 2. What radio should the car have?

Advice greatly appreciated.

Yours is the same as my '85...radio delete. I have in-service pics showing factory radios also. Maybe they were added at the dealer?

Here is a link to the Eminger for the '85 showing the radio credit.

perfect. So I can add an AM/FM that I have for it or not put any radio in it at all and it will still be correct. I need to check the in service picture again and see if the radio bezel in that car is also the woodgrain pattern like the instrument cluster bezel or just plain black.

Any idea what radio option 2 in 84 was? I will pull out the Emminger invoice again and look at it.

Disregard.... I found the Marti Report on it that I forgot I had and also some in service interior pictures.

AM radio is designated on the Marti report. #2 on the door tag.

1984 brochure also states AM radio is standard.
