'92-'93 CHP rear deck light question...

Quick question in reference to the correct placement of the arrowstick and the red/blue lights below the arrowstick. Every restored CHP Mustang I've seen has the arrowstick mounted directly above the red/blues, yet every in service picture I've seen appears to have them staggered. The red/blues stick out farther rearward than the arrowstick as to match the slope of the back window. So which is correct?

In this pic it looks like the red and blue lights are staggered more towards the window and the ambers are further back.

Another shot. Yeah, maybe a little bit of stagger:

Thank you, Jack! Every in service picture upon close inspection shows this offset. My deck lights were originally off a NC SSP Mustang and I've bent the brackets to recreate this offset. My lights have not been installed yet, but upon looking at the restoration photos on this site and at various restored CHP SSPs the question arose....which is correct?

I looked at a lot of pics and Sam's motor transport shots and all I can see are staggered. I built a set for my 1988 and the federal signal factory brackets have a stagger. I can't say that motor transport never put them straight up and down, but I would go with the in service pics and stagger them.
