Jetsonic straps

1 Attachment(s)
Are these for or will these fit the Mustang?

Unmrkd 03-20-2007 10:21 PM

Bernie, those look just like the ones off my old '89 FHP with Jetsonic.

FHP813 03-21-2007 03:25 PM

Thanks Gregg.

Those look like another item that needs to be reproduced... Something that looks like it would be easy to take to a fab shop and they could knock out several sets with a simple change in design as to not get any trademark infrengement issues...

Does anyone have one I can copy? I'll pay shipping here and back. :)

Rhino 06-10-2007 09:25 PM

I also need a set for the Jetsonic in my garage for the 87. Bernie, if you end up getting a pair repro'd, please let me know as I would be interested in going in on a group buy.

Ryan,
If I can find one to copy I will make you a set.

Rhino 06-12-2007 01:39 AM

You got it Bernie! Let me know if you ever get a spare set. :)

My Jetsonic is ISO single white SSP looking forward to long drives and quality time together for long-term relationship at shows. Ha ha!

Mustang Matt 07-09-2007 12:23 PM

I have a set Bernie. I need another set for the 87 car so they are certainly yours to borrow.
When and where shall we meet up or shall I just ship down to you.

FHP813 07-09-2007 02:15 PM

Matt,
If you could ship them I will make you a set and give them to you in GA??? or ship them back to you. PM me for my address.
Thanks,

Did anyone ever make a set or multiple sets of these? I could really use a set for my 86 Ne car.

Thanks,
Matt

Rhino 08-14-2007 11:19 PM

I am still looking for mine as well. Who's up for a batch of repro? :)

predator20 08-14-2007 11:26 PM

I'll need a set too. Maybe 2 sets depending on what lightbar I use on the WSP.

Matt,

I apparently missed the post here (go figure), but I replied to your question over on .org (with some nice pics, I might add).

ImEvil1 08-14-2007 11:46 PM

Forgot to post the link and other info (long day).

The brackets (hooks) are still available from Federal (at least on their website), under PN Z8552B051B ($21.75 each side). Here is the link:

I bought my FHP ones new from local P.D. supplier

ImEvil1 08-16-2007 12:14 AM

Federal doesn't show the GUTR kit as valid (the individual hooks are), but David P. posted a Gall's link over on .org and they still have them.

http://lightbars.stores.yahoo.net/fedhookonmou.html

I also have a parts list if anyone needs PNs for the rubber feet or assorted hardware. Some still show as valid in Fed Sig's system, but some do not. You'd have to call them to see exactly what is and isn't available anymore.

jarhed123 11-29-2007 03:42 PM

I contacted Federal Signal today. They currently have 20 straps for the jetsonic. $36.50 for the set, the part number is HK-GUTR.

For the rubber bumpers, they are $6.50 each (Need 4 on the JS) and the part number to those are 8542-A146A. The have 200 of them left.

Spare Strap

Bernie, I have an extra one, I'll bring it with me to Fudrucker's saturday

Here's a recent listing for the mounting straps. The OP lists HK-GUTR as the FS part number... I've checked with FS and the HKB-GUTR kit is correct.
