Brockville Show
So... who is Rob Nadeau ? Nice looking car.
Maybe I've seen his postings, but don't recall this nice 85 ! http://www.insidebrockville.com/news...wn-brockville/ |
Rob purchased the 1985 CHP Mustang from John Bojusa (sp?) who I believe restored it a long time ago (Daryl Lindsay owned it before him). As I recall reading, John's car was the first 85 CHP to be restored. Rob bought the car 1-2 years ago, and he was able to confirm the unit number as #E408346. I know he enjoys taking it to shows judging by the photos I have seen on Facebook. Here is the link to Rob's profile here -

Hey John, yep that's me...sorta quiet on these sites, Glad Bill keeps me updated lol and yes Bill is correct, bought the car from John B winter of '14, originally was bought from the state auction by Darryl Lindsay, after obtaining the car from Darryl, John approached CHP thru the commis at the time, can't think of his name, and with the help and permission of CHP brought back into service the first. I had it shipped across the U.S to me and it sees lots of shows in and around my area. Car is a HUGE hit everywhere it goes, slows lots of traffic down even thou its a Mustang people see the Black and White and still slow down and pull in behind lol . Did make it's first trip back into the U.S.A in Carlisle PA this past summer and looking forward to Sept '16 when it will make its trip back home to California for the retiree show and Ripon Show Where did you ever see the link from this past Sundays show ?? Wow... nice history !
I had an " old " Sgt of mine from West LA text me the info on the Brookville show. How he found it, I haven't a clue. Looking forward to seeing it next year at the academy ! Yes it is fun driving them around teehee especially here in Oregon, it's a crack up coming up behind CA drivers, they freak out, at the same time wonder what the CHP is doing in Oregon lolol I had fun with one on the freeway last year, escalade from CA hauling the mail. He saw the mustang and slowed right down. Wouldn't pass me HA ! I ramped him and sat there, He never did take off again, then when he was out of site, I got back on the freeway LOLOL SOOOooooo tempted to turn the heat lamp on one someday ! What a crack up that would be, but not worth the trouble I'd get in for it. It is fun seeing the looks on these CA drivers when they see the car. LOL Good deal on the car ! Looking forward to seeing it and meeting you. John |
interesting on how he found out about it...hard to believe things travel that far with social media
