New from KC
Hello.
Just picked up a 88 SSP. No verification on it yet, and it appears the buck tags are missing, but the signs are there. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps8c528527.jpg We also have 2 84 L 5.0's in the family, don't let the Saleen tag fool you. |
welcome to the forum.

Welcome!

Nice! I remember seeing that one on CL. Welcome from another fellow Kansan! I am guessing from the VIN these guys can help your confirm its origin.

Welcome! Is that an antenna hole on the roof I spy? And one in the quarter panel?
|
Thanks for the welcome.
Yes it was on CL, for all of around 3hrs :) As far as I can tell it's 95% original, with 103K . Yes, those are antenna holes in the roof, and quarter. I'll start a thread in the forum for it, and try to figure out what I've got. |
Didn't Nebraska have ones in that timeframe with the same color combo and pinstripe? Seems to me they had some interesting antenna usage too. Maybe check out some of the in-service pics. If you're in Kansas, I would think a number of them would be in that area due to proximity.

MO SSP's had Antenna mounted on the quarter as I recall, and there were definitely some white ones.

I've looked at the Mo ones am not sure what color the pinstripe is. The Nebraska ones do look blue.
