Shot gun mounts Texas DPS

I need a little help on the placement on the shot gun mounts on my 93 Tx DPS. I know they mount under the bottom of the deck lid but not sure where. If anybody has a picture so I can at least get the general idea where they go. Many thanks in advance for the info.

Not necessarily. I have seen pics of them inside the car, mounted alongside the console with a Mini-14. I also know a Trooper whose Mustang was set up that way. My '83 had it on the drivers door.

Thanks Mike....It seems the Tx cars are all so different. My brother in laws 88 DPS SSP he was assigned to (Snyder Tx) had the motorola speaker mounted at the rear of the console. Most Ive seen mounted on the dash area. Antennas were also different according to the patrol area. I was talking to a tech at the CB shop in Tyler Tx that told me he personally installed Wilson 1000s (50 inch whip lip mount)on quite a few DPS Aero cars in the late 80s early 90s. Not sure if this is correct or not ,but its intresting none the less.
