New CHP SSP Spotlights? (EBay)

Found this on EBay tonight while browsing. Seller claims that he has 2 "new" Unity spotlights from the CHP for an SSP Mustang. They look clean, but something seems odd as I would doubt the CHP would get rid of NOS parts?

Here's the link:

And...didn't Unity emboss the S6 model info into the trim ring as opposed to the usual area where it sticks up slightly (top of trim ring)? Wondering if this guy just painted two regular S6's and is calling it CHP issue? Thoughts?

I have contacted the seller to see if they could provide better pictures and also of the inside of the head. I can paint my current onse as well as add the other wire and a relay so they look and work just like the REAL CHP ones... If these are REAL CHP then I would rather have them for my 85 than painting and rewiring my regular K-shaft S6's.

Matt

That is a seller that I remember, but you'll need to see the other sides of the heads to confirm 100%. They look correct, though. The ones I got from out there were refurb'd, and they look like brand new.

The trim ring still has the raised portion, but you're right about the stamping...although stamped into the heads themselves. Check out the pics on the CHP resto doc, and you can see the raised piece on the ring and the stamped logo in the same shot.

Will be interesting to see if the seller has better pics.

If you get some better pics, feel free to throw them up. Looking at the pic again, it looks like those shafts may be too long (especially the lower of the two).
