1984 Texas DPS SSP
I'm a new member from San Antonio, Tx with a 1984 Texas DPS SSP I purchased as a rolling chassis in 2006 and am restoring to original condition. Anyone with information on the Texas '84 cars would be great help

Welcome to the forum. Lot's of folks with strong knowledge of the Texas DPS SSP's here.

Welcome Justin...always happy to see another 4-eyed car being restored.

looks like someone else just posted one of my car's brothers, another 84 Tx DPS SSP from DSO batch 0132

Tony S. has one, too (rolling chassis also). His user name is TXDPS.

sorry about the file sizes, was going for better clarity...no luck getting the door tag to photograph, it comes out blurry every time, even with a 7.1 megapixel digital camera.
I'm guessing the 84's are fairly rare? |
Excellent pics and congrats on the buildsheet!
'84s are pretty rare....and so is the documentation you found. If you email me the buildsheet, I'll be happy to post it up in the Tech section on the main website. I've got a few other updates to make as well. Same goes for your bucktags. |
Very nice! Welcome to the site, consider yourself lucky to have found the buildsheet. Most are never found or are disintegrated and unusable.

Welcome to the site, look for a prior post in the for sale section on Roman's car. He had a texas car and had a website that may be helpful. He's also a great guy and knows alot about these cars, if you PM him he will help you out. Many of these guys are very helpful as you will see and really know about the different agencies. Its a great group of people...WELCOME! ;)
