SSP seat question

Are 86, 89, & 93 frames the same for SSP seats? My 93 NHP driver's seat has a severe lean and possible metal tears (have not removed to verify yet) and I was thinking of swapping in the back portion of a 86 or 89 SSP seat that I have. Thanks for the help!

I believe the SSP seat backs just have a few extra factory welds on them for extra reinforcement. You can always strip the existing seat down and repair the damage if it's not too far gone. I've seen at least one magazine article in the past that details the procedure.

the bracket just above the seat adjuster for the back is usually the culprit they like to crack easy to fix with a little welding.
