Sold it......but should have kept it!

In an earlier post i had asked the question
What was your first car? But now I am asking
What car did you let go and now regret that it's gone?
We all had a car that we sold and now wish we had not :-(
Mine was a 1967 GT 350 that was all correct except
the Motor. The original K code 289 had been replaced
with a 351 Cleveland and the previous owner had painted it
Black with Gold Hertz stripes. This was one of my favorite
driver's
Gone but not forgotten.

The current SSP Mustang was also a great fun driver
when it was un-restored but now (restored) I can only drive it to
a car show and back.... Waaa Waaaa!

Nice! Here's mine -

#3 - 2012 GT/CS Mustang which I drove to the MCA show in Beaumont.

#2 - 1967 S-code Mustang ragtop that we sold to Dover Downs Casino, which they used as a slot grand prize.

#1 - 1963 1/2 Galaxie coupe. That's the one I wish I still had.

Mine would have to be my 1967 427/435hp tri-power convertible corvette. Silver with black interior and a four speed with factory side-pipes and only 50k original miles. I sold that car to buy my first house.......waaaaaaaa

The only one I'd like to have back wasn't anything earthshaking or monumental, just a real sweet looking and driving Mustang: 2001 GT Premium. Bought it because I needed a great commuter car with an automatic (my first ever) and because the color scheme reminded me of my first car. Added the Ford Racing Bullitt suspension package, rear wheel spacers and completed the look with a Mach1 chin spoiler and matching black taillight panels. Let it go only because I couldn't resist the call of the 2008 Bullitt Mustang, which I think I'll keep forever.

My 2003 Torch Red Mach I sure was a fun car...it had to make way for the SSP hobby, but it's the one I miss the most.

1987 Buick Grand National sold to buy a 2002 Toyota 4Runner. Good news is the 4Runner is still running and my son is driving it.
