Texas tag # question

How would unit M7-524's plate read? I found a old add with a possible 87 in it with tag # 524 665... Could that be it?

I went to the in-service photo section for the TxDPS cars...

Just for public knowledge here, no relation between texas plate numbers and texas car numbers unfortunately :(
