90-93 AOD SSP Under $3K

Hi Guys,

We made contact recently with a retired PCSD Deputy who actually drove while in-service (and later owned after the auction) Robert K's blue 88 PCSD SSP.

He's interested in getting back into an SSP, but needs it to be an AOD. Aside from looking on EBay, etc. - I thought I would put the word out on the board to help him with a search.

He has about $3K to spend - and is looking for something he can drive. He'd prefer an SSP. And, ideally, something that is closer on the West Coast vs. shipping across the US.

We're keeping an eye on CL/EBay for local finds, but if anyone has a potential lead, let me know and I will connect/refer over to him.

Thanks in advance!
Ryan

Not going to be much to choose from for 3000.00. At least not a running car that can be driven.

Agree it's a long shot on an SSP - and possibly he may find a vert/LX in that range. Promised I would ask around. :)

SSP

Ryan,

Contact new member, Jeff, screen name 88-0313
He has an 88 CHP drivable in Medford, but needs work. He has loads of parts for 88 - 93 stangs.

I have a couple pics of it. I was over looking at it Saturday.
I have the vin # for it also.
He is going to sell it. Might sell it as is. He was going to replace the R/F fender and hood. Needs it.
But it runs and is a starter if your guy wants an SSP.

Not sure what he's asking. Do a private message to him.
If you don't hear back from him, email me and I'll send a picture and his email address.

John

Thanks John! On it.

Although, if it's a CHP car, my guess is that it still has the 5 speed in it. And my contact needs an AOD. :)
