Verifying My Car Is A SSP
 

I purchased a mustang yesterday morning from Afghanistan and i had my brother go pick it up for me. I only paid 1800 for the car and its in really good condition i was looking for a ssp but couldnt find one so i got this one. When i had my brother run the vin and go on SSPMUSTANG.ORG he said that going by the vin chart it is a ssp. he has not located the buck tags because he doesn't know where to look i tried to explain it to him. But from the paper work from the purchase it's a old THP car out of Gonzales,TX.

Does the car still have the door VIN data tag on it?

I would have to have my brother check and see for me i just ran the vin and compared it to the chart on SSP.org.

If it's within the range of a VIN posted up over there, it's a good sign.

Also check for other SSP specific items: full size spare tire, calibrated speedo, relocated trunk release, just to name a few.

Door VC tag, buck tag or build sheet. Everything else can be added on.
