Radio Speakers

My SSP seems to only have the 2 dash speakers but no door or rear deck speakers. Is this the norm?
Thanks
Gary

I would assume they at least came with dash and deck speakers. The dash ones are just tweeters. The door speakers may have depended on what options where selected. Was your car a radio delete car? Maybe that's the reason.

No idea if it was radio delete.

Check your radio code on the door tag. If "Y" is listed it's a radio delete. http://www.specialservicemustang.net/Doortags.html

The door tag was missing when I bought the car even though I was told it was there! How do I get a build sheet from Ford again? I got some for my SVOs years ago but I forgot how to get it.

This '90 Santa Clara, has 7 in the radio code. "am/fm mpx cassette" not premium.

If a door tag is missing, is there anyway to reproduce it. I am interested in an SSP, but the driver side door has been replaced. It's the only body part that is not original.

I am sure that with the right printer paper and information a repro. can be done. It is just a matter of scanning and putting the correct information with a program such as adobe. I'm sure if you had the time you can do it with little problem.

It just bugs me knowing it isnt there. I would have to figure out a way.

Try to find photo paper with adhesive backing and make sure you measure the actual size of a door decal. Also make sure you use the correct font and style on the letters and numbers.
