1989 Tx DPS SSP 09-11-2012 08:42 AM

Gearz TV show

Stacey David possibly hacking up an SSP to put a 6 SPD transmission in it. Episode ran 8/6 but is on this morning. Had relocated Trunk Release and was LOADED so possibly an FBI car.

The SSP molester. Stacey David

Here's the video of him doing the 6-speed swap to the '90 model (supposed SSP).

Warning: Stacey David thinks he's funny and makes himself laugh often.

Towards the end I was wondering if he was going to say anything about needing a custom driveshaft or not. Glad he slipped in that after-thought before the end of the show.

That was a nice kit he installed. Very complete, and I bet very expensive. It probably cost more than the SSP!

Pathetic Blues Brothers reference. :puke:

Saw the show also, that car had cruise. Did any SSPs come with cruise control? The six speed was nice.

I saw an episode last night with the same SSP where he worked on restoring the paint.
It's an informative show with some nice tips, but...
