Nice! Won't this be the first restored WI SSP?

Looking good George. :2thumbs:

WOW, that looks nice.

Is it missing the rear upper seatbelts?

FlyinTiger 07-03-2008 08:09 AM

I've got a soft spot for the dark blues. Really nice.

Looks great! That's a pretty cool car...

Somewhere down the line I'd love to have a Wisconsin car, having been born there and spent many years there growing up. Right now I just have to settle on being Houston's biggest Brewer fan!

PoliceSSP 07-03-2008 02:04 PM

Thanks for the thumbs up guys. It is a nice color blue.

Matt, it is missing the rear seat belt retractors, the belts and seat mount which I have and will install. Also the smoked headlites need to be replaced as soon as I can get a set of originals or a really good aftermarket. Any help is always appreciated.

Tony, where in WI were you at.

PoliceSSP 07-03-2008 02:08 PM

Sorry for the dup. Don't know how to delete second one.

George-
Born in Milwaukee, lived in Port Washington, Cedarburg, and Independence...also spent a lot of time in Ashland. Still have a lot of family around Milwaukee and in Ashland.

Tony,
If you come up this way to visit, let me know. I lived in Milwaukee and now I am just south of Milwaukee.

New Preserver

Suppose I should add a comment to this thread, mentioning that I brought home George's old 1993 Wisconsin State Patrol SSP a year ago. Haven't spent much time with it as I'd hoped so far, but have intentions for this year. I miss George's camaraderie in the hobby and spending time with him at various car shows.

Great news! Pretty special car you have there.
