Map Pocket Again

Can someone please measure the map pocket from their 85/86 car I need to know how
long and tall
i have a late 87 up map pocket that i will have to cut down to fit. I am tired of looking
for this item. Thanks!

I just measured the map pocket on my 86. The back board measures 20"x4 3/8". The pocket is 20"x4" on the ends and sags in the middle. Hopes this helps.

Remember it sags from factory, it did not go snug to the back board. I will take a picture for you and post it.

Mine is 4 3/4 by 20 (the board) but I don't know if it was ever changed.

Here are the pictures from my Map Pocket. They guy who did it for me matched it exactly to the old one that was hurting bad. He charged me on the high end, $60 but it was exact.

I never had one to start with. Last year in Phoenix i bought one from a salvage yard but it
was the longer 87up type. it's better to have too much then too little. I can modify the
long one now that i know the size! thanks for posting the pict. it looks great!

Give us a call. They are not well publicized, just another on the long list of things I should be doing while I am chatting it up on forums..
