CHP interior question

Does anyone know if the 1993 CHP Mustangs used the little notebook holder/clip thing on the shotgun rack or was that on earlier years? I have the clipboard but I have not seen it in the 1993 cars or other RANGR equiped Mustangs. I repowdercoated it black and its all dressed up and possibly no where to go.

I think it was the earlier cars. I have a few pics I could dig out to double-check, though.

I need one for my '82, so I could find a place for it. :)

Chris,

Definitely the early cars. There's a pic posted of what they looked like in the '87-up cars in the CHP Resto thread (about the CC1). I couldn't find any with the Rangrs.

Matt,

Yep..something else to copy and add to the Resto Doc.

Mike

If I send it to you will you copy it up for the resto document? The clip is off and just needs to be re-rivited back on. I took it off to repowdercoat it without getting any on the clip. Pm me your address and I will get it out to you.

If y'all get them re-pro'd and they used them in 92, let me know and I will go in on one. :)

My 90 had the clip attached to the center console area between the shifter boot and the ash tray door. When the notepad was being held by the clip the notepad layed on top of the ashtray door. I don't know if that was how MT set them up but that is how mine came.
