I am in Northern Ca I have not seen this car at Ripon police show.

I mailed on this one. It's a clone. Seller was very straight forward. Car belongs to his mom. It was a police package car, but done up as a CHP.

Looks nice, but not completely accurate.

That car isn't even a '91...more like an '88-'90. Of that series, CHP had '89s only.

caprice

He has some good parts on it it looks like. Gun rack, radio, lights etc.
The rear amber is the incorrect color. Easy fix.
It would be fun to have though ! lol

Trying to talk a guy up here into selling his 1995 CHP caprice.
All stock, it never saw patrol duty, it was a captain's car.
I'll paint it all black if I get it.

He is thinking about it. it's in great shape.

Those box Chevies do look nice with the SSPs.

This same one was again displayed with my car last Saturday evening at a 10-99 Foundation function.

What color is this one? There is a rare "purple pearl" 95 in the medford area that my dad painted a long time ago.

I like these square body caprices. I have an 86 exOSP unmarked caprice. It can pull any car:D My dad also has a few of these 80's CHP caprices. They aren't restored yet, but we have pretty much all the correct equipment(except radios).

The push bar on the clone sticks out too far to be original:)

Martin's car looks even better with the pushbar pads and PA speaker mount I sent him. :)

I am biased as well being I have a 90 WSP. :)

But these days the car has a new owner.

Rhino 04-05-2012 12:06 PM

He sold it!?!??! Who has it now? Glad to see it is going to shows. :)

Dang...I was soooo lusting after that car. (My first cop car was an 89 CHP Caprice, FYI)
