Not an SSP, but still not any less deserving. A friend took this today near Okeechobee, FL. :puke:

Those 10-holes really make the car stand out from the rest. WTF is wrong with people these days?

Sadly, I have seen this car as well(hopefully there isn't another), just no camera at the time.

Just when you think you have seen the ugliest Mustang around, here comes this one.

Looks like the owner changed out the rears since this photo surfaced a few years back:

Barf.

Amazing the effort they took to screw it up so completely. :puke:

Little known fact: Ford entered into a joint venture with Kenworth in the late 80's and the sidepipes were a one year only factory option on the Mustangs. Ford invested considerable expense in engineering and emissions testing for the sidepipe option. However, due to only one person ordering the pipes the venture collapsed and Ford's finances have been in the toilet since then.

Now where did I leave my boots...

Hey Eric, I have some of the "Special" SSP Police Interceptor badges in stock if you are running short for your concours restorations.:biggrinjester:

Cool! Are those the ones that tell people I drive a "Police Interceptor"? It makes me feel like a real cop to have one of those badges on my car!

Don't forget the cheesy "5.0 Interceptor" badges.

mustangretriever 12-27-2007 10:15 PM

If only someone would produce a badge that says "Police Wannabe"

Looks like in addition to changing out the rear wheels, the person has shortened the stacks. They stop about at the roofline now as opposed to going about 2 feet above the roof in the previous photo.

Another little know option that is on the car - electric stack extension/retraction. Up for cruising - down for "Serious" autocrossing.:D

mac88chp 12-28-2007 04:14 PM

Maybe he forgot to lower them before entering a garage! :D

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

:watchout: NOT!

I don't think it's ever seen a garage, either.

There should be a law enacted so that cars abused like this can be seized and either saved or put out of their misery.

NoDrama43 12-28-2007 10:44 PM

i am thinking wanna-be truck driver here??????? Dual Purpose wanna be if he can get the plastic cheezy 5.0 interceptor fender badges, and of course he would need the Police Interceptor decals for the quarter windows.

oh the humanity of it all..........................
