I took some smalled size pics to post the ad, so here it goes....

Selling my 1992 PA State Police SSP

Its an excellent condition and a great driver.
Purchased with a Federal grant to enforce the 55mph speed limit on our PA interstates...they are referred to as "Project 55" cars by PSP.
1 of 11 for 1992 model year.
All were unmarked, had wig wags and used a red kojack light.
Sold new at Kutztown Ford
Includes a repro of the original license plate number it was assigned
Fully documented. I have copys of the original bid specd, sales invoice for this car, psp new vehicle inspection sheet, and paperwork that has the original plate #'s ,colors and vins for all 11 cars.

Car is equipped how PSP used it while in service with correct motorola radio and correct cobra cb.
Original Stico antenna splitter still in car.

Also i installed a pinstripe back on it like the car originally had.

Interior wise steering wheel replaced with 93 cobra low mile take off.

Mechanically just installed a new Ford waterpump and replaced the metal tranny lines to rad.

Cool car Russ...I like it with the silver wheels and pin stripe....seems like a reasonable price too for a rare SSP.

very rare, well documented car. I really like this one !

Beautiful car, Russ. Beautiful car, indeed. That's the kind I would love to have. Something I could drive whenever I wanted. Too bad I have no room or money for it. Best of luck with the sale.

I hear what you're saying Greg, but that car is too rare to drive IMO. Being only 1 of 11 cars (and the only known survivor that I know of), it's just too nice to drive around.

Free bump for ya Russ! :)

Well after some time of reflection I decided I wanted this car in my collection. I am picking it up Tuesday at noon in PA.

This car is in excellent condition, is 1 of 11, the only gray one, and comes with all the service records, invoice, etc. Russ has really done a great job improving the car also. I am excited to be able to own it !

Pics next week.....and yeah I know i said I was done buying cars. This one was just to good to pass up. :)

Nice car dude.

28HopUp 08-03-2011 02:42 PM

VERY nice Jim! The BFG tires almost have a Gatorback tread pattern, don't they?

NoDrama43 08-03-2011 03:22 PM

thanks for the compliments. I am very happy with the car.

that tire is actually a M/S tread (mud and snow). I have not driven the car to know how they handle. I will probably be putting 215/65/15's on it if I can find some.....

SSPGARY 08-03-2011 04:00 PM

Boy Jim, that car sure is puuurrdy!

NoDrama43 08-03-2011 04:55 PM

That is so cool to see that car! I also remember those cars running in the early 90's along the PA turnpike.

Nice to see that car in the "Mustang Ranch" if you will...
