Various Articles - SSP & Other

Hello,

About 2 months ago after soliciting some input through this forum, I signed up for a Fotki site. Since then I've spent a fair amount of time building it up.

In my Fotki album, I've scanned and saved various articles on SSP Mustangs and other Police vehicles. The link just below will take you directly there.

The articles span the past 4 years. Sttill have a few more to scan and attach, which I expect to complete in the next couple of weeks.

You'll recognize a number of the vehicles and people featured. I hope you enjoy.

I would also like to know who might have a copy of the Goodyear tire Commercial that had the SSP's in it. I posted this a couple of years ago and one person on the SSP Yahoo Group responded but it was a copy of a copy annot a good one.

Glad you like them...I'll get additional ones posted I've aquired over past few years as time permits to scan & save them.

Thanks for the offer Mike to use some of your articles from SpecialServiceMustang.net. The offer goes in reverse for you too...feel free to use any of mine you like. It's all about spreading the word on what a great hobby we have and helpful bunch of enthusiasts.

That '86 belongs to Phil Sanchez. Here he is at the Fabulous Fords Forever show at Knott's in 2007 attending to some unscheduled maintainence.

Thanks for the answer to my question. That sure is a pretty car. I noticed a difference between the 85 and 86 CHP's - on 85's the side sail panel is painted white, while on the 86's they are painted black. Interesting!

Scanned some new pages today

Scanned in some new pages today...#16-46.

Unfortunately they are all black and white but most of the states that had SSP's have a photo included in this publication. Would have been much better if they were in color.
