FHP front plate reproduction?
A member gave me the info for Platemeister so I could try to get a reproduction front tag. But Platemeister emailed me back and said that he no longer does Florida tags.
Anyone else here used someone else to make their tags? I could've sworn I saw a thread where a member was doing the later flat style tags but I can't seem to find the thread. |
I tried to find a couple old posts that I have posted in before on the non-raised letter plates. Here is one...
http://www.specialservicemustang.net...ght=Winterpark I believe the one in the link above if for the gentleman named, Nor (Norbert). Later I'll be able to post the email address here that I have for him. The link above has some contact info too. Some other posts out on the forum too, but couldn't find them. I have bought from Nor on severak occassions and been very satisfied with the process and the price. |
I really appreciate it MO! ;) Looks like I'll need that email address for him since the link in that thread is dead.
I wanted a raised letter plate but I could live with flat. These look like my best option if he still does them. |

Good product, very inexpensive, very quick turnaround. |
That's the one, thanks for posting it. For flat plates, Nor makes some really nice ones and quick turnaround. You'll see the proof and he is patient with edits you might request. He made many edits on a set I had him customize for me a few years ago.
|
Thanks guys! I sent him an email and we'll see how it goes.

http://www.licenseplates.tv/?gclid=C...FYef4AodbEcAow They did my "FHP 510" plate. The Florida plates arent on the web page anymore, not sure why? But there is a phone number.

He's the one I mentioned in my original thread that said he doesn't do Florida plates anymore. Which sucks because I was really hoping to get embossed tags but I'll just have to live with flat.

Here's the proof he made for me....we tried different fonts but this one looked the best.
Ordered 2 and they're on the way. I'll post pics of the actual plates when they get here.... |
It looks nice.

those are excellent. I need to order a bunch of plates for cars and I think I will be giving him the business.

This post got me thinking and I also put in an order for one more. Just in case CA scares him off like the rest I dont want to be stuck with just one.

I am getting ready to order a set of his plates for my Michigan car. I looked at his sample and he is spot on with the plate design and colors. I need to have him do all three FHP cars, while I am at it but I need three different designs for those cars.
|
Jim, he was very accommodating and quick with sending me revisions to samples. So you shouldnt have any problem doing multiples with him.

Thanks Brad for the info, I just emailed him for a set for FHP634.

Those look nice !
I went through Licenseplates.tv back in June 2011. Good thing I did. He is not making CA plates any longer either. He made me like original raised letter plates for my 92. Heard the State of CA made him stop making them. Too bad. Wonder how easy it would be to get the letters and numbers etc. and start making them? Any one have any ideas or leads on that ? I'd be interested in looking into it. Headed to Alaska tomorrow for a week. Take care John |
I bought my "FHP 510" plates from Licenseplates.TV also, maybe a year or so ago? He wont make any more Florida plates either...
