Time to update the pictures, I was out of the country for a few months but now I am back and starting to work on the car again.
9/15/2012http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...atrol/RF-1.jpg http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...atrol/LR-1.jpg http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...atrol/LF-1.jpg Can’t wait to install these when I get home, NOS Carlite rear glass with Defrost and Carlite front windshield. http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...rliteGlass.jpg 12/4/12 I used Dow's Betaprime and Betaseal U-418HV Auto Glass Urethane Adhesive, it was very easy to work with and meets all OE / FMVSS crash and durability requirements. Priming: http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...ndowprimer.jpg Applying a triangle bead of Urethane: http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...t/Urethane.jpg Installing the NOS Carlite rear glass: http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...backglass1.jpg Making sure everything is perfect: http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...rearglass2.jpg Final adjustment and inspection from the boss: http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...rearglass3.jpg 12/26/12 I installed the parking brake, NOS equalizer, new cables, and cleaned all the hardware. I installed the rear Firebeam and the two NOS amber Sho-me halogen lights. I installed new Motorcraft battery cables. The dash is back in the car, I have started running wires for all the equipment and lights. Today I started tearing down the engine and getting ready to send the block, heads, and crank off to the machine shop. http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps78e34570.jpg http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...psd1fee98f.jpg http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...psf900ae53.jpg Off to the machine shop! I should have it all back in a couple weeks! http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps90ed3b4c.jpg The rear deck lights: http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps3207022b.jpg Carpet and headliner showed up: http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...psffc72bda.jpg |

A work of art, as always, Aaron. :2thumbs:

Absolutely beautiful car! What kind of shape is your seat in? I spend a very long time looking for a nice oem titanium cover for my '92. Eventually found one on the Corral. You'll find one. Worst case, there's always SMS for some NOS upholstery. Again, great work on the car.

Looks great!!

Beautiful job Aaron! Thanks for posting all of the pics. I'm diving into the WI shortly, your pics will help tremendously with my detailing.

Beautiful car!
I'm a Kansas boy, too, and I'm drooling over this car. Back in 1996, I test-drove a 1992 Mustang that a guy had for sale. He didn't know it was a KHP car and I realized that it was when I popped the trunk and saw that the underside of the trunk lid was gray. I kick myself for not buying that car but I wasn't wanting a SSP back then. I'd love to see any current pictures that you have of this thing.

I know it's been forever but it's time to update this thread.
Admins: Any way I can have edit access to remove the Photobucket picture files and replace with Flickr files? It was super time consuming but I did it on .org so the reference / history is not lost. I would like to do the same here. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...f6596c01_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...1ad0a702_k.jpg |
What was your ET?
