I swapped out doors when I first got it. I put these on to keep it dried in while in storage.

So is this one your favorite? It's gotta be fairly high up your list, right?

I'm really surprised how well everything survived in the yard for 20+ years setting in GA red clay...

Whelen Edge 9000 light bar wiring was left behind. Here is a pic showing the correct "white" silicone used to seal up the wire passing through roof.

She's now on floor stands. I'll be attaching my "Lazermate" measuring system to her tomorrow. It will remain like this until the final welds are made on the new rails and aprons to insure it goes back square and true. I'm super excited to finally begin the restoration on this one !!! :D

All damaged components are now removed. Now to get it all cleaned up and on with the new. The cowl had very minor damage but I decided to change it as well so I could examine, clean coat cowl area and put a mint cowl on it for a much nicer restoration...

Thanks Bill !
Well more mocking up / test fitting. Lazermate and tram gauge shows it to be dead on, and fenders fit nicely |
Nice choice on the fender. Which car did that one come off of?

I knew it couldn't be original to the car. It's too darn perfect to have been on the car at the time of the accident.

I finally made time to have all the surface rust on roof stripped off, along with paint on quarters and jams. Also had them strip the inner apron around the batterie tray area. As soon as she was good and dry I put a good coat of PPG DP40 on her... No more ugly surface rust to deal with... Now to get her all straight and into some shiny Regatta blue and gray;)
